Christmas 2010

How many of us remember Christmas Morning. Running to the tree to see what we got. But at this time of the year more memories come to mind. When I was little my parents made a nativity scene that went in the garden. So I often think of that. Really I wonder what it would have been like that morning to see our Savior born???? Let's all try to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Merry Christmas from my heart to yours!!

FALL

The weather is starting to get cool. The scarecrows and pumpkins appear!!! What is this wonderful change happening????? Yes it is FALL, AUTUMN. This is the time of the year when families get together and celebrate the holidays. First it is the cool nights with jackets, then the trick or treating, then comes November with Thanksgiving and cooler nights. Finally it is December. Christmas, Family, Laughing, Secrets, Parties.

But with out this change FALL none of these other things could come. So to all of you.

Taken From Home

A new book I am reading is Taken From Home (True Crime) by Eric Francis.

This is about the mother and daughter in Grand Junction Colorado that went missing in 2001. I started reading it and can not put it down. It makes you see how someone can be involved in a crime and wipe it out of their minds. I found it at Barnes and Nobles on the book club table. If you want a suspenceful book to read choose this one!!!

Reality Check

Why do you have to have a reality check at times in your life? Mine is My oldest niece is a Senior at Snowflake High School. I don't know if that means I am getting older or she is just growing Up? I hope its the last one!!!! Well here is hoping we all have a great year at school and Carra please take every opportunity you can because this year will go by fast.

Summer

Summer time when I was a kid was full of excitement. Ice cream, Watering the lawn so we could run in the sprinklers, softball games, and baseball at night. Nothing to worry about except having fun. Then as we become adults it is more about: Are we going to make it all summer long on the money we have till Septembers paycheck. The cooler is broken now what? The water bill is sky high. I want to be a kid again and have someone else worry about all the stressful things in life. Lets take a minute this summer and relive those fun days. All will be there tomorrow. Take a day and be a kid!

Spring

I know we have about 15 days until Spring really begins, but today and yesterday were beautiful. I love sitting in my office listening to the birds sing and pull on the heater/cooler in the window. I am not sure we are ready for spring with the students. They have spring fever bad.

What do you think of when you hear the word spring? Here are some of the things I think of.

New beginnings, Flowers, Warmer Weather, Animal Babies.

Yes that is right I have finished all the Janet Evonovich books out there. Ok All the # books and the others I have found. I am hoping she will write #16 before long I need to know who will Stephanie end up with????
I just looked her up and I have read all the Stephanie Plum Books. If you need a good laugh and cry please read these.

LOVE

Well I have not posted anything for a while and I was sitting here waiting for my love to finish work when I decided I should post about LOVE. O.K. Danneel and Hanna this is not going to be mushy I promise. What does love really mean? Everyone has their own opinon about what it means, but here is mine.

Love means warmth, Love means feeling secure, Love means family, Love means safety, Love means smiles, Love means the church, Love means the gospel, Love means our Father in Heaven, Love means our elder brother Jesus Christ, Love means happiness, Love means YOU! and last but not least LOVE MEANS MY HANDSOME HUSBAND TREB. I LOVE YOU BABE!!!

Happy 2010

Happy 2010 to all of my friends and family. I have had a wonderful holiday season. With the new year alot of people plan to make new years resulutions. I have decided just to continue my resulutions of trying to stay healthy. In the last 2 years Treb and I have changed alot of things in our lives for our health and I am grateful for the changes. With this being the first day of January I just wanted to say Have a great Year and Remember who you are and what you stand for.
